Lawrence T. White earned a Ph.D. in social psychology at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has been a Professor of Psychology at Beloit College in Wisconsin since 1984. In the past 30 years, Professor White has consulted or more than 300 criminal cases. He consults with attorneys and testifies as an expert witness on eyewitness identification and the psychology of interrogation and confession. Professor White was a visiting professor at the University of Tartu (Estonia) in 1997 and 2015. He has directed study abroad programs in Australia, Estonia, and Morocco. His book CULTURE CONSCIOUS: BRIEFINGS ON CULTURE, COGNITION, AND BEHAVIOR will be published by John Wiley and Sons in late 2020.
